Research & Strategy
I begin with a conversation with the client and stakeholders about their business and the project scope. In learning about the client and its industry, I’m gathering as much information as possible to add depth and meaning to the design. The research phase assists in creating a design solution that is not only visually appealing but also aligns with the mission and values of the business.
Design
After conducting research and discovery, we interpret the client’s goals to create a design. We typically explore a range of concepts and then present and revise final concepts until we arrive at a final, appropriate, and compelling design solution. The design phase is flexible and can be scaled based on the timeline, budget, or other factors. We can do more exploration or less, depending on the specific needs. In many cases, the best work can come from an expedited process.
Implementation
After choosing a design direction, I manage production and oversee delivery timelines. Whether it’s new business cards, email templates, or related materials, I work closely with the right printer to ensure efficient and high-quality production of your design. Follow-through at this stage of the project is crucial for the process. I supervise quality assurance and assist in adapting the design for web, advertising, and any other channels where the work appears.
